Impact Assessment of the Education Training Program in the Adopted Secondary School in Tanauan City
Education training program centering on research capability and digital literacy for basic education teachers is pivotal in addressing the demands of 21st-century teaching. Basic education teachers are expected not only to deliver instructions within their field of expertise but also to solve common educational problems by providing research-based solutions and interventions while embracing the culture of digital transformation. Hence, this study assessed the impact of an education training program on research capability and digital literacy for basic education teachers to propose a Sustainability Development Plan. Utilizing a survey design and covering the beneficiaries of the implemented educational training program, this study revealed that the education training program has a great extent impact on basic education teachers’ research skills and digital literacy as they perceived this education program as successful and effective. A plan for the sustainability of the education program has been proposed to further strengthen basic education teachers’ research capability through mentoring on publication and knowledge dissemination while honing their digital literacy skills.
