LA DETERMINATION HISTORIQUE ET CULTURELLE DE LA DEMOCRATIE EN AFRIQUE : UNE MEMOIRE VIGILENTE POUR LE CAMEROUN.

Democracy was imposed in Africa by countries of North since 1990. This political system does not allow the African people to subscribe to the logic of these requirements from which their history and their culture tend to keep them away. Democracy in Africa allows countries of the North to challenge african leaders to better adjust their strategy in relation to postmodern capitalism. The latter resorts to the dictatorship of urgency to maximize the rate of profit. With the so-called democratic opening, multi-party system is born, which leads to competitive tribality in such a way that the relationship between the tribes only happens on the background of war. Democracy on the historical level deepens the relations that have been established between Africa and the countries of North in general and the former colonial metropolises in particular. In other words, it is about the history of struggle which exists or takes place since the colonial period to the detriment of the african peoples. We must revive african cultures, strip them of their mystical conservative gangue and extinguish the culture of solidarity for democratic determination.

Key words: Democracy, determination, culture, history, tribalism
