Construction of hybrid Powered Digital Blood Pressure and Pulse Monitoring Device
This paper explores the development of a hybrid-powered (solar and electric) digital blood pressure (BP) and pulse monitoring device. The primary aim is to create a sustainable, reliable, and user-friendly health monitoring solution that leverages renewable energy sources to reduce dependency on conventional power. The device integrates advanced photovoltaic (PV) cells for solar energy harvesting and efficient battery technology to ensure uninterrupted operation. The expected outcomes include a functional prototype that can accurately monitor blood pressure and pulse, powered by a combination of solar and electric energy. This device aims to provide a cost-effective, eco-friendly solution for continuous health monitoring, particularly beneficial in remote or off-grid areas. The project also addresses challenges such as energy efficiency, storage capacity, and the impact of weather conditions on solar energy harvesting. The findings will contribute to the broader field of sustainable medical technology, offering insights for future innovations in renewable energy-powered health devices.
