The Dilemma and Countermeasures of Ideological and Political Education in Universities under the Background of “Great Ideological and Political Education”
The “Great Ideological and Political Course” is a new approach to the construction, and a deepening understanding of the teaching practice and development laws of ideological and political theory courses in universities. During the implementation process, there were some problems with the “Great Ideological and Political Course”, which affected its educational effectiveness. Based on the above situation, this study adopts literature search and interview methods to understand the problems existing in the “Great Ideological and Political Courses” in universities, analyze the main reasons, and propose corresponding strategies. The results of this study suggest that the construction of ideological and political theory courses in universities should start from the following three aspects. First, we should grasp the core connotations of the era’s mission, educational pattern, and practical direction of the “Great Ideological and Political Course”; Second, it is necessary to explore the practical difficulties in the structure of teaching staff, teaching models, practical teaching, and teaching environment of ideological and political theory courses in universities; Final, it is necessary to optimize the construction path in response to the existing problems, strengthen the construction of the teaching staff, innovate the teaching content and methods, attach importance to the practical teaching, and create a good teaching environment to continuously promote the quality and efficiency of ideological and political theory courses in universities.
